Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in:

Adult ICU
Emergency Room (including pediatric intubation and mechanical ventilation)
Nursery (Level 1), including attending high-risk C-sections and participation in resuscitation teams
Medical-Surgical floors

The therapist will float to all areas of the hospital, caring for patients ranging from newborns to adults.

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
More than 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Experience working in ICU, Emergency Room, Nursery (Level 1), and Medical-Surgical floors
Experience working with pediatric patients, including those needing intubation and mechanical ventilation in the ER
Experience working with high-risk patients and maternal-fetal patients
Experience attending high-risk C-sections
Experience being part of a resuscitation team
Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) preferred to ensure comfort and competence with critically ill pediatric patients

The RRT will be part of a resuscitation team and expected to float across various hospital departments.
Must be a team player with strong communication skills and a positive, respectful attitude.
