Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

Located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)
111-bed teaching hospital
ICU Unit: 2nd Floor, Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases
Number of ICU beds: 14
Patient ratio: 1:2, CN free of patients
Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Paragon
Patient population: Sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma cases

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Specialty
Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: Every other weekend
Call requirements: None
Number of openings: 1

Requirements

Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: 1-2 years minimum, with at least 1 year ICU experience preferred
Preferred skills: Medical ICU experience, TNCC certification
Personality fit: Team-oriented, accountable to best practices
