Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Travel)
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Description
- Provide timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Perform MRI imaging studies including soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
- Ability to adjust imaging parameters as needed for diagnostic quality.
Schedule
- Tuesday to Thursday: 9 AM – 7 PM
- Friday: 7 AM – 7 PM
Requirements
- Specialty: MRI Technologist
- Years of Experience: 2-3 years MRI Tech experience (higher value taken: 3 years)
- Certifications:
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) registration required
- Licensing: Must maintain a State License as a general radiographer
- Location: Must live 50+ miles from the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT
