Job Opportunity: MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Unit Information

• Unit: MRI
• Number of Beds: 332
• Number of Staff: 4 (2 day shift MR techs, 2 evening shift MR techs)
• Equipment: GE Signa Artist Evo 1.5T, Siemens Avanto 1.5T
• EMR Systems: Meditech, McKesson PACS
• Floating Area: Outpatient scanner
• Dress Code: Hunter green scrubs
• Weekends and On-call: Yes, frequency and duration depend on staffing

Required Certifications

• ARRT (MR) Certification
• BLS

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech
• Experience with GE 1.5T Signa Artist Evo and Siemens Avanto 1.5T required
• Venipuncture/IV starts experience required
• Trauma and Neuro MRI experience required

Typical Procedures

• Comprehensive MRI/MRA
• Musculoskeletal (MSK), Neuro, Gastrointestinal (GI) imaging
• No cardiac, prostate, or breast imaging
