Position Details

- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience & Certifications
- Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
- Required Certifications: BLS, NIH, Kentucky Nursing License
- Float Requirements: Yes – must be able to float to PCU or Med Surg units
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Mixed Acuity – General Overflow
- Number of Beds: 17
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 (higher patient ratios experience required)
- Equipment Used: Dynamaps, glucometers, IV and SCD pumps, lift equipment, bladder scanners, cardiac monitoring, Provizio SEMs scanner
- EMR System: Cerner
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Cardiac drips (gtts) and telemetry experience
- Ability to manage higher patient ratios (5-6 patients per nurse)

Dress Code
- Scrubs required: Galaxy Blue top with black or galaxy blue bottoms
- White or gray undershirts allowed
This role is ideal for RNs with solid PCU or Med Surg experience who are comfortable managing higher patient ratios in a mixed acuity setting.
