Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Monday to Friday
4 days of call per month

Experience & Certification Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
ARRT CT certification required
Experience with both CT and X-ray required

Job Description

Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician
Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation
Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
Provide diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient settings under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
