Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Weekend/Holiday: Flexibility to work up to every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
On Call: Two 12-hour on-call shifts every 6 weeks

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of RRT experience (higher value between 2-3+ years interpreted as 3 years)
• Prior Travel Experience: Required (previous travel experience is mandatory)
• Trauma Experience: Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Certifications:

  • National & North Carolina RRT certification
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Charting: Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Skillset: Emergency, Trauma, and Critical Care expertise
• Personal Attributes: Hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, and social

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Scrubs in red, black, or gray (solid colors only; no designs unless in pediatric areas). T-shirts worn under scrub tops must be solid red, black, gray, or white. No hoodies or fleece jackets; scrub jackets allowed.
• COVID-19: COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt
• Orientation: Hours not guaranteed during orientation week or if the unit is closed
