Job Description

• Provide critical care with experience caring for VADs (Ventricular Assist Devices), ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), and Arterial Lines (Alines)
• Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift Length: 11.5 hours
• Total Hours per Week: 34.5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity level
• COVID-19 Vaccination Required (medical declination possible with approval)
• Dress Code: Navy bottom + white top with dark shoes, or all white with white shoes

Position Requirements

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Travel experience or local NYC experience
• Level 1 Trauma Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset
• New York State RN License in hand
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification
• Experience in a large academic/teaching hospital setting required
• Skills checklist matching required skill set
• EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience
