Job Opportunity: General Radiographer - Technologist
Location: Norfolk, Virginia
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts)
On-Call: Rotating call
Job Description
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures primarily using X-ray equipment, with occasional assistance in CT imaging.
- Interview patients to understand their issues and collect/document necessary information.
- Properly position patients during imaging procedures.
- Work mainly in pediatric radiology.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with pediatric patients
