Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Taunton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Night Shift

Job Description

  • Provide nursing care on Telemetry units, Medical-Surgical units, and Emergency Department Hold areas.
  • Experience required with:
    • Chest tubes
    • CPAP/BiPAP management
    • Telemetry interpretation
    • Blood administration
    • PICC lines and Ports care
    • Cardizem, heparin, and amiodarone drips

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience with chest tubes
  • Experience with CPAP/BiPAP management
  • Experience with PICC lines and Ports care

Additional Information

  • Floating between Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, and ED Hold units is expected.
