Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech
Position Overview
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Schedule and prepare patients for procedures.
- Operate nuclear medicine cameras and auxiliary imaging equipment.
- Calibrate instruments and radiopharmaceutical materials.
- Ensure radiation safety and proper handling/administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Document clinical history and symptoms.
- Monitor patient physiological status during procedures.
- Maintain proficiency in starting IV lines and injection procedures.
- Manage inventory and records related to radiopharmaceuticals.
- Submit nuclear charge tickets for each patient procedure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: ARRT or NMTCB or ASCP certification, California State License, American Heart Association BLS.
- Experience: Preferred 1-3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required).
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks).
