RN - ICU

Location: Lafayette, Colorado Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), 36 hours per week Specialty: ICU

Responsibilities

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
• Collects and assesses health data on an ongoing basis
• Provides health teaching and counseling
• Provides therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience of at least 1 year, within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
