MRI Technologist - Contract Position

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Facility: Nebraska Medicine

Job Overview

Perform quality MRI procedures under supervision of a radiologist to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
Participate in teaching and research related to MRI.
Actively involved in the MRI department.
Must communicate effectively, multitask, and handle challenging interactions professionally.

Equipment Used

Philips MRI Scanner
GE Scanner
Epic for EMR
McKesson for imaging

Requirements

Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiology program.
Proficient with computers, including basic navigation and email.
Current ARRT certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification in all specialty areas within one year of hire.
6 months to 1 year of MRI experience.
ARRT (R)(MRI) certification required.

Facility Details

7 MRI scanners on campus.
Dress code: Red uniforms.

Contract Details

Length: 13 weeks

Additional Considerations

Candidates should disclose any required time off during the assignment.
Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred.
Experience with Philips equipment is a plus.
Previous Level I Trauma Hospital experience is relevant.
