Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Overview

Contract role in Hilo, Hawaii
Long-term care setting on a hospital campus
13-week assignment
8-hour varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Flexibility required; no guarantee of hours or shift preference

Responsibilities

Perform assessments and treatments
Administer medications
Notify the MD/NP of pertinent information
Assist with admissions and discharges
Provide ADL assistance
Perform gastrostomy tube care
Perform urinary catheter care
Provide nebulized treatment
Perform wound vac care
Provide CPAP care
Perform tracheostomy care
Complete other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in Hawaii
Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
Long Term Care experience within the last year
BLS

Start Date Requirement

Must arrive on Thursday before start to attend the employee health appointment on Friday
