Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Trauma ICU (Night Shift)

Location: Chico, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift (12 hours, 7:00 PM start)
Hours per Week: 36

Unit and Patient Population

• Level II trauma Neuro Trauma/Surgical ICU (NT/SICU)
• 12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Care for neuro/trauma patients including those with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• Floating required to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 5 years of Neuro Trauma nursing experience, including Neuro Trauma experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level II Trauma patients and Neuro ICU experience
• One completed travel nursing assignment with previous traveler experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting

Additional Information

• Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency
• Flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed
