Radiation Oncology Technologist - Contract Position

Location: Greenbrae, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday through Friday, 5 x 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM start time)

Job Description

Seeking two Radiotherapy Technologists to support the Radiation Oncology department.

Responsibilities

• Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) checks, and treatment calendar programming.
• Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as required.

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience (highest required years of experience).
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.
• Must hold ARRT and California RTT licenses.
• BLS certification required.

Additional Information

• Up to 36 hours of on-call availability may be required during the assignment.
• Candidates must be able to start within 2 weeks of the requested start date.
