Sleep Tech Opportunity

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Perform diagnostic sleep testing including all PAP therapy titration
• Patient check-in, room setup, patient hookup, charting, and equipment cleaning

Equipment Used

• Computerized charting systems
• Natus XLTech Sleep Works
• ResMed S9 Devices

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Sleep Tech
• Certifications: RPSGT and BLS required

Schedule

• Nights only, Sunday through Thursday
• 12-hour shifts
• No call required
• Employee will not work alone
• 3 night shifts per week, shifts may be split and not consecutive

Work Environment

• 10 Bed Sleep Lab (2 beds for Pediatric testing)
• 2:1 tech to patient ratio (1:1 for patients under 3 years old)
• Located in a hospital outpatient department, lower level of a clinic off campus
• Flat lot parking immediately outside
• No cafeteria, secured entrance

Orientation & Training

• Modified EMR training
• One shift orientation with another sleep tech

Additional Notes

• No floating to other units or departments
• Limited scoring during data collection
