Med/Surg / Telemetry RN Position

Location: Ranson, West Virginia
Unit: Med/Tele (16 beds)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg and Telemetry unit
• Typical procedures include:

  • Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
  • Wound management
  • Patient assessments
  • Catheter care
  • Orthopedics care

Equipment & Systems

• EPIC electronic health record system

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid West Virginia or compact state nursing license
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) preferred

Schedule & Workload

• 12-hour shifts
• No call required
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 (7am-7pm)
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Possible floating to Telemetry unit if needed (not mandatory)

Additional Notes for Applicants

• Must have EPIC experience
• Submission requires: resume, references, skills, all time off
• Must provide an unexpired copy of driver’s license
• Candidates must meet specific submission rules related to previous employment and travel assignments within the WVU system
• Travel teams must be submitted together if applicable
