Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER)

Location: Show Low, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, 36 hour guarantee
Unit: Emergency Room (Level IV Trauma Center)

Job Description

• Work in a regional hospital located in the White Mountains of Arizona.
• ER with 30 private rooms including a six-room Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU).
• 6 fast track beds staffed with a Physician Assistant for minor, non-urgent cases.
• Includes 1 seclusion room and 5 additional monitored rooms.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4.
• Average patient volume: approximately 100 patients per day.
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours.
• Patient types include trauma, cardiac, neurological, and all other emergency cases.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Allscripts - Sunrise.
• Medication system: Omnicell.
• Scrub color policy: any color except all black. Scrubs are not provided.
• Night shifts are 12 hours.

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Emergency Room.
• Certifications required:

  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • NIHSS
  • PALS (American Heart Association)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
