Registered Nurse — Med Surg
Location
- Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Day/night rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active North Dakota or compact RN license
- BLS certification through AHA
- 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience
- Experience in a larger hospital setting with at least 200 beds
- Experience in a level 2 or higher trauma center
- Travel experience required, unless the clinician has multiple years of experience in a large level 1 setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical oncology experience
Unit Details
- Med-surg and surgical oncology patients
- 47-bed department
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights
Work Setting
- May float to any med-surg unit on any campus
Orientation
- 1 day of lead center training
- 2 unit shifts with a preceptor
Additional Notes
- Candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
- Candidates within 60 to 80 miles are eligible at a reduced local rate
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- Navy blue scrubs required
- If the clinician has ever worked for this health system, that must be noted in submission, and there must be a 6-month gap since the prior end date
