Registered Nurse — Medical Acute Care
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend
- 3 of 6 holidays required
- Call or standby may be needed depending on staffing
Unit Overview
- General medical acute care unit
- 20 beds
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4–5 on days, 1:5–6 on nights
- Telemetry is used for some patients
- No vents on the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS certification
- General medical experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Additional Notes
- Local clinicians within 50 miles are accepted
- Travelers are preferred to have general med/surgical experience
- Travel nurses are first to float
- Drug screen must be negative for all panels
- Submission requires the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
