Unit Information

• Unit: Swedish Main OR 70117
• Number of ORs: 14
• Staffing: 70 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs)
• Shift Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 RN and 1 ST per OR, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Anesthesia Technicians (ATs), Trauma team
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, 1 ST
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:1 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• EMR System: Meditech

Schedule

• Typical shift: 1500-2300 (3 PM to 11 PM)
• Alternative shift considered: 1100-2100 (11 AM to 9 PM)
• Flexibility required for day/evening hours as needed
• Call required

Required Qualifications

• Must have Ortho/Joint experience
• Must hold NBSTA and DORA certifications
• BLS certification required
• Self-direction and flexibility essential

Preferred Qualifications

• Level I trauma experience preferred

Typical Procedures

• All procedures except Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), Neurosurgery, and Transplants
