CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Albany, New York

Position Overview

• Role: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
• Setting: Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Work Environment: Fast-paced, includes trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient (including ICU), research, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical CT procedures to create diagnostic images
  • Assist in clinical evaluation and patient care
  • Support teaching and ongoing learning related to evolving technology
  • Enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School (minimum high school +1)
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in NY
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

Experience

• Required specialty experience: 2 years
• Entry level candidates with limited or no experience may be considered and assigned MIT level based on skill set and experience
• No prior travel experience explicitly required

Schedule

• Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
