Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN to serve as an OR Circulator in General Surgery, including Urology and Gynecology. The role involves working day shifts with 4x10 hour schedules and includes rotating weekend call approximately every 6-7 days. The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work with specialized surgical equipment.

• Specialty: Circulating RN - General Surgery (including Urology & Gynecology)

• Call Requirements: Rotating weekend call every 6-7 days; scheduled late shifts as needed
• Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association only)
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in General Surgery including Urology, Gynecology, and Orthopedics
• Patient Type: Surgical patients

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience in Urology, Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN), and Orthopedic Surgery

Work Environment and Equipment

• Operating Room setting
• Equipment used: DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, Beach Chair
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs in black; no other scrub colors allowed

This position is ideal for RNs with surgical circulating experience who are comfortable with advanced surgical technology and flexible scheduling.
