Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description
Seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Tech to perform sonographic imaging in an outpatient clinical setting. The role requires proficiency in vascular ultrasound and the ability to work independently while maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification
- ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to diagnostic sonography
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Additional Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within scope of practice
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards
