Location: St. Petersburg, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36
Role Overview
- Holds shift accountability for patient care using the Nursing Process, in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe care delivery.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff, and directs and supervises assigned personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Florida RN license or multi-state compact RN license, attached to resume
- Long Term Acute Care experience: 1 year, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, attached to submission
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, attached to submission
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with ventilator management
- Experience with tracheostomy management
- Knowledge of central lines
