With 82 long-term acute care beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Comparably, our 13-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. Located south of downtown St. Petersburg where 4th Street turns into 6th Street, between 30th and 32nd Avenues, we have stunning, unobstructed waterfront views of the bay with easy access to public transit.

Pros

There is absolutely not a single pro to working at this facility.

Cons

This hospital is beyond dangerous. As a traveler, expect the worst assignment. Ratio of 5? No. Ratio of 6? Always. Push to 7? They’ll try. As a result, you’re caring for beyond sick patients where nearly each and everyone you have are total care, wounds bigger than I’ve ever seen—gnats and flies breeding inside. Management? Don’t care about the nurses. Staff? Hate their jobs—overworked, underpaid, and not appreciated. PEG tubes, total feeds, nearly everyone trached. Unsustainable and UNSAFE. CNAs…. Where?? I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
