Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Department: MRI / Radiology
Facility Size: 250 beds
Staff on Unit: 20 Rad Techs (including OR Rad Techs)
Shifts:
- Day/Evening: 8am–4pm (8/4 schedule)
- Night: 1 tech
- Weekends: 4 techs during the day
Patient Volume: Approximately 100 patients per 24 hours
Equipment: GE imaging systems
EMR System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

X-ray
Fluoroscopy
High volume of OR exams during the day
Trauma imaging

Required Certifications & Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
ARRT (R) Certification
BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Hospital experience over 1 year is preferred

Work Environment & Expectations

Positive attitude and ability to multitask are essential
Potential to float to X-Ray and CT areas if experienced
Dress code: Olive scrub top and black pants

Additional Notes

Weekend work required
On-call duties may be required
