Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Main Operating Room
Number of OR beds: 23
Staff on day shift: Approximately 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters
Patient ratio: 1:1
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Typical procedures: Elective surgeries including Orthopedics/Spine, Cardiovascular, General Surgery, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
No trauma cases
Work environment: Team-oriented, flexible, and outstanding teamwork culture

Schedule & Hours

Shift: Day shift (7 AM to 7 PM)
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience in an acute care setting
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Acute care experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or knowledge in Orthopedics/Spine and Cardiovascular procedures

Additional Notes

Candidates must have at least 1 year of current hospital acute care OR RN experience to be considered
The unit values flexibility and teamwork
