Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Pittsburg, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
Weekend Hours: Rotating

Job Summary

• Provide patient care using the nursing process on a rehabilitation unit.
• Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and service standards.

Unit & Facility Information

• Rehab unit with use of EPIC EMR system.
• Facility is a Level III Trauma Center with Level II specialty nursery and two cath labs (EP and peripheral vascular capabilities).
• Facility earned an "A" grade in The Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas.
• Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Scrub color: Black only.
• No attire other than specified scrubs is acceptable.
