Occupational Therapist (Inpatient Rehabilitation) - Travel Position
Location
- City: Houston, Texas
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 32 hours
- Weekend Hours: 1 Saturday per month (8-hour shift)
- Call Requirements: None
Unit and Patient Population
- Unit Type: Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Number of Beds: 30
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 nursing; 1:4 therapy
- Patient Population: Adult to geriatric
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Neurological, transplant, orthopedic, cardiac, debility
- Equipment Used: Hoyer lift
- Electronic Health Record System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required; open-toed shoes and not wearing scrubs are unacceptable
