Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery) - Travel Position
Location: Johnson, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Call Shifts: 2 per scheduled period
Job Description
Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients. Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
