Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Surgery (Travel)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Beds: 2 heart rooms with a possible 3rd
Staff: 4 RNs and 3 CSTs
Shifts: Day shift only (5 AM – 5 PM); no night shift, but on-call required
On-call: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
Patient Ratio: 1:1
EMR System: Meditech / CPN
Procedures: CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR
ECMO program restarting

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
Current certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Acute care nursing experience
