ICU RN Travel Job

Role

Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit
Travel position
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 guaranteed hours per week
Every other weekend commitment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Care of septic patients
Care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices

Work Setting

Adult ICU
30 beds
Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
Floating required to other inpatient areas when the home unit is low census

Preferred Experience

CRRT experience

Patient Population

Sepsis
Respiratory failure
Substance abuse disorders
Endocrine disorders
Psychiatric disorders

Additional Notes

Orientation includes first-day modules and one day on the unit
Navy scrubs required
