Assignment Details
- Travel assignment in Nashville, Tennessee
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Not an auto-offer position
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS
- CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- Cardiac experience
- Strong critical care experience
Unit Information
- CCU with 32 beds
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Floating required as needed based on census
- 4-week schedules
- 3–4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
Clinical Skills and Experience
- PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
- IABP
- Impella
- CRRT preferred
- Central line insertion
- Swan insertion
- Intubations
Work Environment
- Student nurse externs available as techs
- Unit secretary available Monday through Friday, 0730–1530
- Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
- Meditech documentation system
Additional Notes
- Scrubs required: galaxy blue, red, or black; scrub jackets or vests only
- Float as needed to other units depending on census
- Cardiogenic shock program with 12 beds dedicated to cardiogenic shock patients
