Overview

Travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas
36 hours per week
13 weeks
Friday–Sunday schedule, 11A–11P

Unit

CT Tech unit in a 64-bed adult hospital with a 12-bed Adult ICU and a 14-bed ED
Weekend daytime imaging coverage includes 1 CT tech
CT shifts on weekends are 7a–7p

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
CT Technologist (6 months of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT Certification
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Siemens scanner experience
2–3+ years of CT experience
Ability to back up XRAY if the XRAY tech is in the OR
Ability to work independently and problem solve

Clinical Focus

CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis
CTA chest, neck, abdomen
Occasional CTA Cardiac studies
CT Lumbar / Thoracic spine
CT Head Stroke protocol

Additional Details

Majority of patients are adult ED patients; some pediatric scans are possible
Adult inpatients as ordered
Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT
Meditech EMR
FUJI Synapse PACS
Black scrubs required and not provided
