Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position
Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Specializes in rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
- Single-floor facility
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical
- Shift: Day shift
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 7 patients
- Equipment Used: IV pumps, EKG machine, bariatric bed, medication dispensing systems
- Electronic Health Records: Cerner, Epic
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Patient Population & Common Diagnoses
- Patients recovering from stroke, amputation, and major surgeries
