Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
Hours per week: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)
No call requirements

Facility & Unit Overview

59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Patient population varies; includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6-7
Equipment used: Hoyer Lifts, Glucometer, INR Machine
Electronic Health Record system: Epic

Job Role & Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a rehabilitation setting
Provide customized, intense rehabilitation care tailored to patient needs
Common diagnoses treated: Debility, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN/LVN license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in LPN/LVN rehabilitation nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Joint Commission Certified facility with specialty Stroke and Brain Injury Certification
CARF Certified with high standards for quality and outcomes
Nurse scrub color: Navy Blue
Parking available at the back of the building
