LPN/LVN - Rehab (Travel Position)

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness.
Rehabilitation programs tailored for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Facility accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs.

Position Details

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Specialty: Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical
Shift: Day shift
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Equipment Used: IV pumps, EKG machine, bariatric bed, medication dispensing systems
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Cerner, Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN/LVN license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in medical-surgical nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

Patient population includes adults recovering from stroke, amputation, and major surgeries.
