Location: Ottumwa, Iowa Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1

Role Details

Specialty: MS/Tele
Population: Primarily adults (unit profile also lists all patient populations)
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (support staff: CNA, LPNs)
Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Schedule

Shift: 7a-7p
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidates may indicate a preference for 48 guaranteed hours on submission)
Starts: Monday or Tuesday starts accommodated
Travel Eligibility: Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered travel

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Med Surg / Telemetry experience: 1 year, completed within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Health and Wellness Certification (HWC)
Mandatory Reporter Certification (Adult)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding Requirements

Iowa state background check, criminal and child abuse portions, must be cleared with no exceptions
All county and state background checks must be fully cleared before start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted
Mandatory reporter certification (child and adult)
10-panel drug screen including opiates
Titers dated within the last 12 months
