Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period)
Unit: Telemetry Unit (4B), 24-bed unit
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Float Requirements: May float to Med/Surg or other units as needed; assignments given at start of each shift
On Call/Call Back: None

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois RN License
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
Prior travel experience required (at least one completed travel contract; no new travelers)
Charting experience with Meditech preferred; mandatory Meditech training required
Skills: Ability to perform phlebotomy and read/interpret telemetry strips
COVID-19 booster vaccination required unless approved medical/religious exemption

Additional Information

No return to office (RTO) over 7 days accepted
Scrub color: Royal Blue
