Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, PM/Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: Option to choose 24 or 36 hours

Job Description

Work primarily in a 17-bed Emergency Room unit.
Flexibility required to float to nearby hospitals if needed.
No on-call or call-back requirements.
Charting experience with EPIC required within the last 12 months.
Must be resilient, adaptable to change, and socially engaging.
Scrub color choice is flexible.
COVID-19 vaccine required unless a valid medical or religious exemption applies.
Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed.
Float assignments will not require working outside clinical skills without prior approval.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with EPIC charting system
Certifications required:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS Stroke Certification
- ACLS
- PALS

Additional Information

Orientation week hours are not guaranteed.
Candidate must be willing to float to other units or facilities based on census and staffing needs.
