Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel assignment in Evansville, Indiana
- Primary location: Deaconess Emergency and Urgent Care – Lynch Road
- 13-week contract
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day/mid variable schedule, 7a-7p or 11a-11p based on unit need
- No float requirement
- No on-call or call-back requirement
- Weekend/holiday requirement: 2 of 6 weekends, plus holiday rotation
- No local candidates within 40 miles
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
Additional Details
- Patient population: Emergency Department, Adult and Pediatric
- Charting system: Epic
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Must be a hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, and socially strong
- Navy blue scrubs
- COVID-19 vaccine not required, subject to change
