CCU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Rhinelander, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• Start date: 11/9
• 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday

Unit Details

• CCU
• 1:2 patient ratio
• May be low censused and put on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Float scope includes alike units within skillset and other locations within a 40-mile radius: Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River
• Floating may be pre-scheduled if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
• CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS
• PALS

Preferred

• Prior critical access/rural experience

Additional Notes

• Occasional pediatric surgical patients may be ENT or ortho cases
• EPIC charting experience is mentioned, but no charting experience is required
• Scrub color: any
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
