Radiology Technologist (Technician) - Travel Assignment
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: August 19, 2026
End Date: November 17, 2026
Work Schedule & Hours
- Shift: 3rd Shift, 7 on / 7 off schedule (7/70 model)
- Hours: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed 70 hours biweekly; overtime after 72 hours in the second week
- Orientation: 1 week (7 days) from 8/19 to 8/25, same shift hours; off training and on own starting 9/2
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- Must work holidays that fall during “on” weeks (includes Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day 2026)
Job Responsibilities & Environment
- Float throughout hospital including portable imaging and EDTC/trauma imaging
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment including:
- Siemens Multix plain film equipment
- Portable units: GE and Carestream
- C-arm: GE OEC
- Mini c-arm: Orthoscan
- Fluoroscopy: Siemens Agile
- Use Epic charting system preferred; experience with Radiant and Phillips PACS is a plus
- Apply diagnostic radiology principles and procedures independently
- Interact effectively with patients’ families, physicians, and department staff to ensure quality care
- Make independent decisions related to complex equipment and patient sedation/critical care
- Physically able to lift and position patients, stand, walk, and assist during x-rays
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or Certificate in Radiologic Imaging

- Scrub attire: Any professional scrubs
- Traveler guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when unit is closed and during orientation week
