Job Opportunity: RN - Pre-Op

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
Knowledgeable about nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques.
Collaborate with patients, families, professional peers, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care.
Direct nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing practice standards and policies.
Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience, including experience within the last year
Pre-Op experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
