Surgical Tech - Travel

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced

Job Description

Assist in the care of surgical patients during procedures.
Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgery.
Understand the surgical procedure and anticipate surgeon’s needs.
Ensure quality patient care throughout the operative procedure.
Maintain the sterile field vigilantly.
Follow instructions from Physicians and RNs closely.
Adhere to established hospital policies related to the Operating Room.
Practice Standard Precautions at all times.
Maintain a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist within the last year.

Contract Length

Approximately 12 weeks (87 days rounded to nearest week).
