Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Neptune, New Jersey

Job Summary

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Ensure documentation accurately reflects patient assessments, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and evaluations of patient responses.
• Assign and evaluate the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certifications & Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

Experience & Skills

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required
• Focus on surgical patient care in the operating room setting
