Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Clinical Technician
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Job Description
- Perform advanced-level radiographic imaging and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision.
- Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for various diagnostic procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
- Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or film output issues.
- Serve as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students.
- May participate in training to develop skills in CT, MRI, or Special Procedures imaging.
- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment in the assigned area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Current ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Skills
- Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques and radiographic equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to prioritize assignments and care for patients of varying ages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain procedures to patients or parents
- Computer proficiency

- This position supports a mobile mammography unit that travels weekly to various sites across Oklahoma.
