Job Overview

Title: RN Wound Care
Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 per week

Role Summary

Provide direct nursing care for patients with wound care needs, including assessments, treatments, care coordination, discharge support, and patient/family education. The role emphasizes holistic, evidence-based nursing practice and collaboration with the care team.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Wound Care (1 year of experience)
• Wound Care experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
• Carry out nursing therapies and procedures within scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
• Coordinate care, delegate tasks, and oversee team members as needed
• Provide patient and family education
• Support discharge planning and discharge teaching
• Participate in quality improvement activities and documentation monitoring
